Adelaida Montero Rosario, 90, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in her home with family by her side.
Born on June 4, 1936, in the small mountain town of Utuado, Puerto Rico, Adelaida was the daughter of the late Juan Rosario Crespo and Ana Gonzalez Ramos. She is survived by her son, Hector Montero and his wife Aimee, and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Fernando, Donnavan, Courtney, Almar, and Reynell.
Adelaida will be remembered for her deep love of nature, animals, and the color pink. She was a very giving and serviceable person who was always willing to help anyone at any time. She was loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
