Agnes Buie

Agnes Brady Buie 96, of Fayetteville, died January 23, 2013.

Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of Futeral Lee and Frossie Graham Brady. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert T. Buie; two sisters, Norma B. Weathington and Lisa B. Sloan; one brother, Howard F. Brady.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane B. Stevens and husband Douglas L. of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Leigh Buie Stevens Belford and husband Keith J. of Fayetteville and Jennifer Haigh and husband Christopher of Severn, MD; great granddaughter, Hayden Elizabeth Belford of Fayetteville; and one sister, Pat (Button) Brady Preston of New Bern.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2013 conducted by Chaplain Neil E. Smith, nephew of the deceased, in Cumberland Cemetery, Bingham Drive, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends, Friday night from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
