Amy Prevatte Barnes, 50, of Stedman passed away on May 29, 2025 after battling ALS. She was born in Robeson County to Charles and Lenora Prevatte.

Her greatest joys in life were her girls, grandkids and shopping at the Dollar General. Amy will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

She is survived by Donnie Ratley (fiance'), 3 Daughters, Katilyn (Julio) Crespo, Hailey Barnes(Hunter Seaman), and Caitlin Replogle, 3 Grandchildren Alexa and Mason Crespo and Bentley Seaman, Mother, Lenora (Lynn) Prevatte,

2 Sisters, Beverly(Mike) Chavis and Victoria Tyler , a niece, Brittney Clemmer and a nephew, Chance Chavis and many others that refer to her affectionately as "Aunt Amy."

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Prevatte, paternal Grandparents, Orren and Clara Prevatte and maternal grandparents Osborne and Retha Locklear.
