Angel Mayol-Colon, 88 of Hope Mills, NC, passed away on February 23, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Puerto Rico, Angel was the son of the late Benigno Rivera Aponte and Felicita Colon-Santiago. He was also preceded in death by his son, Angel Mayol-Torres; daughter, Sonia N. Mayol-Torres; grandson, Benny M. Mayol-Rodriguez; brother, Benigno Rivera-Colon; and sisters, Ana Mayol, Maria A. Mayol-Colon, Concepcion Mayol-Colon, and Ramona Mayol-Colon.
He is survived by his son, Miguel A. Mayol-Torres; daughter, Mariana R. Mayol-Torres; brothers, Miguel Mayol and Eduardo Mayol; sisters, Rosa Rivera and Carmen Rivera; grandchildren, Ismarie Rosado-Mayol and Jonathan Rosado-Mayol; and great-granddaughter, Ellamaris Rosado-Sochuck.
Angel was an amazing father, brother, and grandfather. He was known by many, loved by all and will be greatly missed.
