Barbara Chrismon Mott

Barbara Chrismon Mott, 64 of Hope Mills, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Born on August 9, 1960, in Plymouth County, MA, Barbara was the daughter of the late Leon Chrismon and JoAnne Chrismon Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Spencer Chrismon and James Thomas Chrismon.

She is survived by her husband, Morton Mott; three sons, Christopher Charles Mott and his wife Candace, Nicholas Lloyd Mott and his wife Angel, and David Edward Mott; five grandchildren, Ashten, Brooklyn, Aaron, Mason, and Autumn Mott; five siblings, Johnny Lee Hamilton and his wife Shari, Randy Wayne Hamilton, Lawrence Alan Chrismon and his wife Michelle, Terri Lynn Hamilton and her husband Dean, and Bryan O’Dell Chrismon and his wife Liz; several nieces and nephews, a host of other family and friends; and her five fur babies.

Barbara was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.
