Betty Kinlaw

Mrs. Betty Hester Kinlaw, (Formerly of Hope Mills) -The Promise Land became a reality for Betty Hester Kinlaw when she went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 31, 2015.

She is the daughter of the late Homer and Sabra Hester. Betty resided in Hope Mills for 50 years and was employed by Dixie Yarn Company before moving to Asheville where she and her husband owned Circle Eight Foods.

She is survived by husband Horace; sons, Kenneth and wife Anne, and Michael and wife Beth; a daughter, Terri Burkett; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Thomas, Michael, Richard, Hunter, Hayley, Heather, Caroline, Rebekah; five great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Ava, Kora, Mattie and Alexander; sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Sylvia Dean; and a brother, Gene Hester.
