Betty Walton

Betty Lou Wallace Walton, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.

Born June 25, 1939 in Cumberland County, Betty was the daughter of the late Luke and Mae Beal Wallace.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Adelaide Green; and her brother, Edward Wallace.

Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Walton, Jr.; children, Wendy Tredway, Sandra Walton, Jeffery Walton, and Tracy Walton; brother, Boyd Dale Wallace and his wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Annice Wallace; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of church family and friends.

Betty was a devout Christian, as well as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
