Brenda Kay Gray, 72 of Hope Mills, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Brenda was born in Rutherford County, she is preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Byrd, and a son, Stoney James Gray, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, James Gray, Jr.; son, James Gray, III and wife Melissa; daughter-in-law, Deborah Gray wife of the late Stoney James Gray, Sr.; grandchildren, Stoney James Gray, Jr. and wife Chassidy, and Tanner Gray; great grandchildren, Emerson Gray, James Carlyle Gray; and a sister, Peggy Bolinger.
Brenda loved animals and music. A graveside service will be held, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 12:00 noon in Big Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
