Clyde Clifton “Cliff” Hester, 77 of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021.
Born September 1, 1943 in Cumberland County, Cliff is the son of the late Francis Welton and Bertha Parker Hester. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth New & brother in law Wilbert New; brother, Buddy Hester and Grady Hester & sister in law Mary Hester; and brother in law, Jim Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Hester; stepdaughter, Stephanie Cartrette & fiancé Richard Todd; stepson, Brandon Williamson & wife Michelle; step grandchildren, Tyler Triner, Jonas Keels, Whitney Cartrette, Kyle Cartrette, Brantley Williamson, and Jack Williamson; sister, Betty Rogers; brother, Charles Hester; sister in law, Nancy Hester; four nieces & nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Cliff will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
