Darren Leishman

Darren Leishman, 61 of Hope Mills, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 14, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Darren was the son of the late Gavin and Donna Leishman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ray Andres. 

Though born in Canada, Darren spent most of his adult life in Montrose, Michigan, as well as in Wilmington and Fayetteville, North Carolina. 

He is survived by Kelly Andres Leishman, his wife of almost 38 years; daughter, Kaylen Boroff (Bryan); son, Evan and grandson, Casey; sister, Stephanie (Andrew); brother, Brett (Stephanie), mother-in-law; Dorothy Andres; sisters and brothers-in-law; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, both in the US and Canada. 

Darren enjoyed golf, the beach, and was an avid fan of Manchester United. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
