Dolores Demmeka Adams, 93, of Parkton, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Born on October 21, 1932, in Michigan, Dolores was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Bernice Kolter Demmeka. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Adams; brother, James Demmeka; and granddaughters, Rebecca Adams and Veronica Gibson.
She is survived by her children, Virginia “Ginny” Moxley and husband Robert, Shirley Williams and husband John, John Adams, Tina Rogers and husband Frank, and Rose Whitehouse; grandchildren, Laurie Waddle and husband Phil, Angelia Dillon and husband Shawn, Christina Joyner and husband Ben Kail, Ann Deese and husband David Szyszkowski, Steven Joyner, Jessica Joyner, Joshua Arnold, Shawn Arnold and wife Chasity, Katrina Arnold, and Jamie Gibson; 29 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; sister, Louise Kendall and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Cathy Demmeka; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Believing in caring for others, Dolores impacted many lives working as a nursing assistant for several years, but above all, she loved caring for her family.
Dolores will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be mad to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
