Dorothy Brown

Mrs. Dorothy Adcox Brown, 90, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 28, 2015.

Born in Robeson County, she is the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Williams Adcox. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hardy, S. Brown, Sr., a son, William Lee Brown, a daughter, Joan Brown Parrish and two sisters, Hattie Colyer and Margaret Riley.

She is survived by a daughter, Ava L. Greenwood and husband Mike of Fayetteville, five sons, Hardy S. Brown Jr. of Fayetteville, Robert D. Polston and wife Joan of Beaufort, Marvin T. Brown of Fayetteville, Daniel C. Brown and wife LaRue and Samuel H. Brown and wife Jane all of Fayetteville; two sisters Marvine Allen of Fayetteville and Marie Porter of Myrtle Beach; 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
