Dorothy Day

Dorothy Miller Day formerly of Neptune, NJ passed January 15 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC. She lived the past five years in Fayetteville. Dorothy was born in West haven, CT, and retired from the Ft. Monmouth , NJ, CECOM Building in 1993. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling to many places including several countries in Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska. Dot's passions were roller skating, music, dancing and gardening.

Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Sarah Conroy Green and Douglas Albertus Miller Sr.; her sister, Sarah L. Miller; her brothers, Douglas A. Jr., Harry H. Miller and David T. Miller. She is survived by her daughters Jean Roppoli of Hope Mills, NC and Lorna Day of Keyport, NJ; her granddaughter, Kimberly Tripp Gerhard and two great grandchildren Haley (Mimi) and Eddie
(Bud) Youmans of Fayetteville, NC.
