Elizabeth “Betty” Burns
August 13, 1940 - July 7, 2026

Elizabeth C. Burns, 85 of Fayetteville, NC passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026 at home surrounded by family.

Betty was born August 13, 1940 in Nelsonville, OH, to the late Ira and Edna Clark. Betty worked at L&S Lancaster Sales in Nelsonville for many years before moving with her family to North Carolina.

Betty is survived by her life partner Lannie Ellis of Fayetteville, NC; children Brenda Munn (Eddie Hall) of Ammon, NC; Joseph Williams (Jennifer) of Autryville, NC; Jason Williams (Christina) of Spring Lake, NC; Kerry Vick (Les) of Fayetteville, NC; sister Melanie Rosser (Tim) of Autryville, NC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby Joe Williams, brother Dan Clark, son in law Robert D. Munn.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
