Elizabeth Burns

Elizabeth C. Burns, 85, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Betty was born August 13, 1940, in Nelsonville, OH, to the late Ira and Edna Clark. Betty worked at L&S Lancaster Sales in Nelsonville for many years before moving with her family to North Carolina.

Betty is survived by her life partner, Lannie Ellis of Fayetteville, NC; children, Brenda Munn (Eddie Hall) of Ammon, NC, Joseph Williams (Jennifer) of Autryville, NC, Jason Williams (Christina) of Spring Lake, NC, and Kerry Vick (Les) of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Melanie Rosser (Tim) of Autryville, NC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bobby Joe Williams, brother, Dan Clark, and son-in-law, Robert D. Munn.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
