Elizabeth Byrd

Early in the morning on Friday, August 20, 2010, the Lord took Elizabeth Ann Thompson Byrd home for a much deserved rest after many years of suffering.

Elizabeth was born on September 16, 1948 in Parkton, NC to the late Gilbert and Zelma Ard Mixon.

On Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11 AM in the Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Chapel a celebration of her life will be held with Pastor Larry Stancil and Reverend Donnie Drake officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

Among those that will miss her are husband, Jerry Wade Byrd; children, Eddie Thompson, Tammy Porter, Becky Thompson, carol Thompson, Connie Thompson, Harold Thompson, Willis Thompson, Barbara McDonald, Becky Jo Bowen; sister, Elma Lee Thompson; twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
