Elizabeth "Libby" Thorne, 91 of Laurinburg, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023.
Born in Robeson County, Elizabeth is the daughter of the late Ellis Monroe Walters and Bertha Parker Walters. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Yancy Thorne; sons, Ernest Pruitt, Jr. and Danny Ellis Pruitt; and daughter, Libby Nell Britt.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Sandra Woodell and husband Edward, Pat Goggins and husband Bill, and Belinda Faye LeQuire and husband Roger; sister, Linda Council; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
