Eloise Cox, 88 of Hope Mills, passed away August 27, 2022.
Born in Johnston County, she is the daughter of the late John B. and Lucille McLamb Jernigan. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Ray Cox; daughter, Camilla Lynn Cox; sisters, Janice Lynch and Ellen Bunnells; brothers, Carlton Jernigan, Donald Ray Jernigan and J. C. Jernigan.
She is survived by a daughter, Katie Cox Kozik and husband Warren; sisters, Joyce Bain and Jewel Lee; brother, Edward Lee Jernigan & wife Carol; her pet Casper.
Eloise enjoyed sewing, making quilts, cooking, canning food, baking cakes and pies and she liked to fish.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
