Fannie Mae Thompson, 90, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 in her home.
Born January 1, 1935, in Rockingham County, NC, Fannie was the daughter of the late Curtis and Kathleen Quick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thompson; son, Jimmy Lee Thompson, brothers, Clyde, Donald Ray, Roy, Joe, Ralph, and Dennis Quick; and sister, Diane Wood.
She is survived by her children, Paul Thompson, Mary Marren and her husband Dale, Alice Wilkes, and Gary Thompson; granddaughter, Kori Seymour and her husband Steven; great grandchildren, Khloe, Kelsey, and Kayleigh Seymour; sisters, Christine Cardenas and Gladys Huggins; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Fannie enjoyed being outdoors, especially when she was gardening in her flower beds or swinging in her swing. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
