Fay Newby

Fay Newby 62 of Hope Mills, passed away July 20, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of Otis and Shirley Bunnells Hemingway. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Shawn Bennett.
She is survived by a son, Mark Gordon and wife Jackie of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters, Patricia Matthews and husband Dan of IN and Peggy Piet and husband Harold of GA; a brother, DJ Hemingway of Hope Mills and 5 grandchildren.
A gathering will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 23, 2018, at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills.
Fay loved her children and grandchildren. They were her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
