Geraldine Melvin

Geraldine Melvin, 67, of Parkton died Monday, September 24, 2012.



Born in Jefferson, Alabama, she is the daughter of Willie Amos and Evia Catherine Barr Phillips.



She is survived by her  husband, Wayne of the home;  children, Wayne Jr. and wife Linda, Helen Newtown and husband Edward, JoAnne Boyd and husband John, Catherine Cantrell and husband David, and  Linda Flores; one  brother, Clyde Phillips; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.



Family and friends will gather from 3 until 4 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2012  at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills.
