Howard Vander "Whit" Whittington, 87, of Raeford, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
He was the youngest of 11 children, father of four, grandfather of 15, and great-grandfather to several.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Vander Bilt and Nona Whittington.
He is survived by his wife; Bessie Lee Whittington, daughters; Kristine Marie Sheridan and Cindy Patricia Hampton, son and daughter-in-law; Vancleef and Kathleen Whittington.
