Hubert Stephens

Hubert Stephens, 83 of Hope Mills, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Born on July 31, 1941, in Robeson County, Hubert was the son of the late Albert Stephens and Lucille Bundy Stephens. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ellen, Theodore, Bobby, and Margaret.

Hubert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wilma Stephens; daughter Sue Wallace and her husband Jimmy; stepson, Gerald Proctor; two grandsons, Justin and Brandon; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Honorably serving in the US Army, Hubert retired as a SSGT after over 20 years of service. Following his military career, he worked as a warehouse supervisor with Civil Service. After retiring a second time, Hubert went on to work with Purolator for several more years.

Hubert will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
