Ida Parker

Ida Belle Parker, 94, died Sunday, October 9, 2011.

She was born September 21, 1917 in Fayetteville, NC to the late Hughie Locke and Ella West Dallas.

During her work career Ida worked for Burlington Industries and for The Capitol Department Store for thirty years.

Along with her parents Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Parker; son, Larry L. Parker, Sr.; great grandson, William E. Phillips, Jr.; great granddaughters, Virginia Lynn Willis and Elizabeth Willis; brother, Jaddie Dallas; sisters, Elsie Herndon, Margie Barnes, Theris Tewatt Britt and Agnes Smith.

Surviving are daughter, Linda Parker Willis and husband John; daughter-in-law, Judy H. Parker; grandchildren, Anita Briley and husband Donnie, Annette Worrell and husband Greg; Larry Parker, Jr. and wife Tina, David Parker and wife Kathy, Julie House and husband Greg, Jason Willis and wife Mary Jo, John Locke Willis and wife Cassandra, Joshua Willis and wife Brittany; 15 great grandchildren, I great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
