James Atwood

James Ray Atwood, 84, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his home surrounded by family.

Mr. Atwood was a Coast Guard and Air Force Veteran who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Arran Lake Baptist Church. He also retired from the United States Post Office.

Mr. Atwood is survived by his wife, Lenore Jean Atwood of the home; daughters, Cindy Moulden and husband Frank of Fayetteville, NC , Susan Mitchell and husband Timmy of Autryville, NC, Beverly Hubbard and husband David of Fayetteville, NC , sons; James Ray Atwood Jr and wife Anne of Fort Walton Beach , FL, and Paul Atwood and wife Lisa from Fayetteville, NC , 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
