Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class James Alexander Spillman, 90, of Fayetteville, died Friday, November 7, 2014.
Mr. Spillman was born January 21, 1924 in Hopewell, Virginia. He served over 26 years in the Army, before retiring in 1968.
Mr. Spillman was preceded in death by his wife Carolina Spillman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Jim Spillman, Jr. and his wife Nana of Fayetteville, son, Robert Spillman and his wife Kitty of Raleigh, two grandsons, Robert and Andrew; and his great granddaughter, Sophia.
Services will be held at a later date.
