James Robert Strickland, 88 of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 in his son Manfred’s residence with family by his side.

Born December 31, 1933 in Dillon County, SC, James is the son of the late William Harvey Strickland and Gladys Rogers Strickland. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Elsa Strickland.

James is survived by his daughters, Bridgette Hudson, Mary Mann, Rhonda Kenton, and Michelle Strickland; sons, Manfred Strickland, Darrell Strickland, and Edward Strickland; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
