John Marvin Cameron, Jr.

John Marvin "Buster" Cameron, Jr., 68 of Hope Mills, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Born September 16, 1956 in Cumberland County, John was the son of the late John Marvin Cameron, Sr. and Shirley Faye Cameron. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Charlie Cameron and his brother, Billy Cameron.

John is survived by his wife 0f 50 wonderful years, Renee Cameron; brother, Terry Cameron; sister, Suzzie Young; sister, Lisa Gravelle and her husband Michael; sister-in-law, Regina Conoly and her husband Jeff; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

John will be remembered for his hard work and dedication that he applied to any tasks set before him. He was a kind soul who was willing to help anyone in the best way he could. In his spare time, he loved golfing, watching wrestling, and hitting the casino while cruising. Most importantly, John loved simply spending time with his family and friends.

He will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved him.
