John “Johnny” David Page, 67, of Broadway, North Carolina, passed away on February 9, 2026 after several weeks in Central Harnett Hospital.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Ransom Wade; his mother, Elnora Watson Martin; his brother, Bobby Hayes; and his sister, Linda Faye Tenhoeve.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 36 years, Shirley Page, her two children: Amanda Mason and Joshua Mason of Linden, cherished grandchildren: Aalyda Rogers and Jacob Mason of Linden, and Ashley Kurz and Farrah Kurz of Clinton, and a great-granddaughter: Violet Petoletti of Linden. Siblings: Ruby Loughman-Helfgott (Don), Carol Givens (Lynn), Cecil Wade (Darlene), Augustus “Tommy” Ratley (Linda), and Charles Wade (Jeanne), along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Johnny dedicated approximately 40 years to the truss industry. For most of those years, he served as a plant manager, a role in which he truly found his element. He took pride in his work, his leadership, and the relationships he built throughout his career.
He was a devoted and outspoken Washington Redskins fan who never missed an opportunity to tell you which NFL team was the best. Johnny also enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, reading, and playing poker with his brothers. He was well known for his quick-witted banter, playful teasing, and a special knack for being an aggravator.
While Johnny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, his family holds firmly to the hope found in Jesus Christ and the promise that they will see him again.
We love you, Johnny!
