Johnny James Davis Sr., 77 of Fayetteville died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Veterans Affair Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. Davis was born in Cumberland County to the late John Sampson and Ada Everett Davis.
He is survivied by his sons: John Davis and wife Jeanette of Georgia, Jerry Davis, Jim Davis and Jeff Davis all of California; brothers Sherman Davis and Lacey Eugene Davis of Fayetteville, sisters, Sylvia Edwards of Fayetteville, Kathy Jones and Carol of Hope Mills; five grandchildren, Evan, Jenelle, Johnny Davis, III, Jerry and Gregory Davis; one great grandchild, Wade Davis.
