Julian Roger Shivy, 20 of Hope Mills, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Born in Cumberland County, NC on August 27, 2001, Julian was a graduate of Southview High School and was currently going through basic training in the U.S. Army. He was a self proclaimed "amateur mixed martial artist" who enjoyed watching UFC, listening to music, going to the beach, and playing video games. He was known to share "fun facts" on a whim and just simply enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Julian was preceded in death by his uncle, Daniel Shivy and is survived by his wife, Samantha Mauldin; daughter, Adalynn Shivy; parents, Christine Shivy and Keenan Bristol; grandmother, Barb Shivy; grandfather, Randy Shivy and wife Liz; aunt, Amy Rock; cousin, Gavin Rock; and a host of other family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
