Leonard Berridge

US Army Retired SFC Leonard “Len” F. Berridge, 78 of Fayetteville, passed away on November 17, 2022.

Serving 22 years in the Armed Forces, Len was a member of the Special Forces and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Golden Knights parachute team. Len was an avid golfer, lover of horses, and a wonderful family man.

He is survived by his wife, Jean I. Berridge; daughters, Melanie Middlebrook and husband Randy of Helena, MT, Cheryl Gainey and husband Randy of Hope Mills, NC, and Sandy Lipe and husband Robert of Prairieville, LA; son, Leonard J. Berridge and wife Diane of Wedowee, AL; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and brother, Danny Claypool.

Len was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
