Lieselotte Barbara Martin

Lieselotte Barbara Martin, 82, of Hope Mills, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born December 14, 1943, in Germany, Barbara was the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth Heusneider. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Rick” Martin; grandson, John Bullard; and son-in-law, Steven Pastore.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenett Pastore; daughter, Sandra Campbell and her husband Bill; three grandchildren, Tiffany Berg and her husband Christopher, Christina Taylor and her husband Zach, and Michael Pastore and his wife Alexis; six great grandchildren, Kaylee Thomas, Kamarie Bullard, Korben Bullard, Ethan McLaurin, Riley Taylor, and Scarlett Pastore; and a host of other family and friends.

As a true Christian strong in her faith, Barbara was lifelong member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills, where she would often bless the congregation with hymns sung with her angelic voice. She loved her church family as much as she loved her own and did what she could to support the church and everyone who attended.

Barbara was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

A visitation and memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5050 Oak Street, in Hope Mills. Times will be announced once determined.
