Lillie Cain

Lillie Mae Cain, 90, of Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 13, 2015.

Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Allie Musselwhite. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Cain, Sr.; children, Janet M. Proctor and Walter G. Cain, Jr.; grandson, Keith Cain; and sisters, Maggie Musselwhite, Vada Cain, Marian L. Johnson, and Lela Jackson.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Debbie Hoehne, Walter D. Cain, and Robert K. Cain; great- grandchildren, Ashley Barrett, Kyera'xan Cain, and Matthew Cain; great-great grandchild, Jayce "Jake" Kitchen.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 in First United Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services.

Mrs. Cain was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She was loved by everybody in her family and church family. But most of all Nanny was my special angel sent from God above, Love Debbie.
