Lillie Slade

Mrs. Lillie Mae Slade, 93, of Hope Mills passed Saturday, Mar. 15, 2014 at her home.

She is survived by 4 sons, Mitchell Slade and Johnny Slade both of Hope Mills, James Slade & wife Cha Nam and Robert Slade & wife Cheryl both of Fayetteville; 26 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great grandchildren and 6 great-great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of Faymont Community Mission. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Slade, 3 sons, Billy Ray, Jessie and Lawrence; 3 daughters, Glenda Smith, Mary Taylor and Phyllis King; her parents, David Evander and Hattie Canady Melvin
