Linda Horrell Johnson of Hope Mills, North Carolina passed away at her home on May 29, 2026.

Linda Was born on August 24, 1942 in Rowan, North Carolina to the late Herman Franklin Horrell and Mary Elizabeth Henry Horrell.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher Graham Johnson (Carol) of Cary, North Carolina; daughter, Lynette Johnson Hodges (Chuck) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; sister, Joyce Horrell Wommack (Rick) of Wilmington, North Carolina; brothers, Herman Dwight Horrell (Jan) and Stanley Dale Horrell (Anita) both of Ivanhoe, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kevin West Bridgeman (Joy) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Lauren Bridgeman Cowan (Zach) of Lumberton, North Carolina and Jordan Gage Hodges (Bethany) of Temple, Texas; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 3350 Butler Nursery Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 or Shriners' Children's Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
