Linda Parker

Linda Baxley Parker, 72, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Born April 16, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Samuel Fred Baxley, Sr. and Lillian Blackmon Baxley.

She attended Massey Hill High School and graduated from Hope Mills High School in 1963. She worked for several years at Black & Decker before retiring in 1999.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Parker, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen and Nichols and her husband Chad; grandchildren, Chelsey Noelle Kornegay and her husband Joey, Ashlyn Elizabeth Parsons, B. C. Nichols, and Ashley Nichols; brother, Samuel "Sammy" Baxley, Jr.; and sisters, Ann Faircloth, Kathy Askins, and Carla Barrett.

Linda will deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
