Lottie Blackwell, 82, of Hope Mills, NC, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1942, in St. Pauls, NC, and spent her life surrounded by family, faith, and community.
Lottie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Blackwell, who passed away in 2013.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Autry and Karen Milliken and her companion George Turner. She was a devoted grandmother to Wendy Jones and her husband Patrick, Jennifer Pate and her husband Chris, Michael Autry and his wife Jessica, Ashley Milliken, and Matthew Autry. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Alyssa Halcomb and her husband Kolt, Zack Long, Ayden Autry, Kaleb Autry, Dylan Autry, Olivia Autry, and Savannah Milliken; her great-great-grandson, Blake Jones; and her beloved dog, Cody.
Throughout her life, Lottie was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family. She cherished times spent with her children and grandchildren, and her home was always a place of welcome and love. Her legacy is one of compassion, strength, and devotion, qualities that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Lottie’s life was a testament to the values of family and community. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave but also for the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
