Marie Ann Demeri

Marie Ann Demeri, 88, of Stedman, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Born on January 16, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, Marie was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Mungavin Deneri. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Walters; son, Bruce Walters; son, Joe Walters; and siblings, Delores, Angelo, Frank, Margie, Joseph, and Tommy.

She is survived by her daughter, Annie Walters; grandson, Nick Walters and his wife Ana; grandson, Storm Adams and his wife Sonya; daughter-in-law, Kim Walters; great-grandchildren, Summer, Colton, Scarlett, Connor, Carson, Waylon, and Natalie; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family, friends, and neighbors.

Being a hard worker, Marie worked as an assembler at Purolator for several years before retiring. After retirement, she enjoyed being on the road whenever she could. Whether it was going out to eat, travelling to the beach, or stopping at yard sales, Marie loved riding around. She will be remembered as a kindhearted person who was willing to give anyone anything she had if they showed smallest interest in something.

Marie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
