Mr. Maxie Gray Tolar, Sr. 78 died Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
He is the son of the late Addison Gray and Gladys Pauline Atkins Tolar. He preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Sherri Lucas.
He is survived by his wife; Martha Tolar; children; Maxie Tolar, Jr., Cindy Jacobs, Bennett Tolar, Amy Jackson, Tracy Bowden, Lady Tolar; brother, Jimmy Tolar and Alton Tolar; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Tolar was a long time employee of the Fayetteville Observer for thirty-five years and worked at Eagle Transport for eight years.
