Oscar Owens Chavis, Jr., (Buzzy) died June 28, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC following a long illness.
Born September 27, 1950 in Wallace, SC, he is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Owens Chavis, Sr., and mother Janie Cummings Chavis. He had one daughter, Amy Rogers of Wallace, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Solid Rock United Pentecostal Church in Raeford, NC.
