Patricia Ann Grooms

Patricia Ann (Jackson) Grooms, 81 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Born on December 4, 1943, in Cumberland County, Pat is the daughter of the late Julius and Lyda Jackson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Jackson.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Tonia Ann Byrd and her husband Robbie; grandson, Benjamin Gentry Byrd; brother, Stuart Jackson and his wife Linda; nephews, Christopher Enlow and Matthew Jackson; aunt, Annie Ruth Starling; special friend, Tamela Mason; several close and loving cousins; and a host of other loved ones and friends.

Pat will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Highland Baptist Church, 4456 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
