Patricia Ann Jasinski January 29, 1957 – September 13, 2026

Patricia Ann Jasinski, 69, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Patricia was born on January 29, 1957, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, to the late Wesley Fields and Daisy Walters Fields. Throughout her life, Patricia’s greatest joys were found in her faith and in the love she shared with her family.

Patricia met the love of her life, Michael S. Jasinski, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and family, sharing 52 years of marriage. They eventually made their home in Connecticut, where they raised their two sons and created a lifetime of memories. During the last two years of her life, Patricia and Michael moved to Hope Mills, North Carolina, bringing them closer to their children and grandchildren. This was a blessing that allowed her to spend more time with those who meant the most to her.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. While she loved her family deeply, her grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart. Nothing brought Patricia greater happiness than spending time with them, and being their grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life.

Patricia also had a special love for her dogs. Each one she welcomed into her life over the years became a beloved member of her family and brought her great companionship and happiness.

Her faith was an important part of who Patricia was. She loved the Lord and found great joy in worshiping Him. While living in Connecticut, she was blessed with a wonderful church home at His Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church in Bethel, where she worshiped and grew in her faith. Her devotion to the Lord remained a constant throughout her life.

Patricia retired from DRS, where she worked as a quality control inspector on computer panels used aboard U.S. Naval ships. She took pride in her work and brought the same dedication and care to her career that she gave to so many areas of her life.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Fields and Daisy Walters Fields, and her sister, Lucille Cartwright.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Michael S. Jasinski; her sons, Michael A. Jasinski and his wife, Jennifer, and Jason P. Jasinski and his wife, Grace; her six cherished grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Evan, Bruen, Jordan, and Gwen; and her brothers, Wesley Fields and Danny Fields. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who were very special to her, along with extended family and friends whose lives were touched by her love and friendship.
