Peggy Maxwell

Peggy Cain Maxwell, 77, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2010. Mrs. Maxwell was a lifetime member of Green Springs Baptist Church, Parkton, NC.

Mrs. Maxwell was born to the late James Roy Cain and Betty Stanton Cain Senholzi of Cumberland County. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Jean Smith.

Peggy was a lifetime member of the Fayetteville Area Board of Realtors, co-owner of Cicero Maxwell Realty and a previous employee of Black and Decker.

Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clarence "Cicero" Maxwell, Sr. of Gray's Creek, Hope Mills, N.C., one daughter, Darlene Maxwell Bain and husband Julian, two sons, Clarence C. Maxwell, Jr. and wife Barbara, and Dwayne Maxwell all of Hope Mills, NC., and brother Claude Cain and wife, Esther Pearl of The Villages, Florida.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michelle Eastwood and husband, Micah of Hendersonville, NC April Kendall and husband, Paul, Julie Windham and husband, Stan, Blake Maxwell and Samantha Maxwell all of Hope Mills, NC. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, Leona, Bethany and Makayla Eastwood of Hendersonville, NC, Garrett Windham, Daniel and Samuel Kendall all of Hope Mills, NC, and step grandchildren, Kelsey Gaouette and Rob Hemingway and numerous nieces and nephews.
