Rhodes " Buddy Cowboy" Pittman was born September 22, 1951 in Lumberton, NC. He departed this earthly life to enter his heavenly home on November 29, 2011.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie Ruth Pittman; two brothers, Robert Pittman and Terry Lee Pittman.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ware; five daughters, Gail Haney of New Port News, VA, Susie Pittman, Dollie Bray, Ruth Ann Chavis and Patricia Baldwin all of Fayetteville, NC; six brothers and sisters, Christine Smith, Nathaniel Pittman, W. R. Pittman, Rosa Nobles, Jeanette Polston, and William Dennis Pittman; and a special lifelong friend, Elaine Pittman; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
