Richard, a retired Army veteran died at his home Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Hatsue, and parents Charles Richard and Elizabeth Kay.
Those left behind to morn his passing are Daughters, Janet Buie and Patty Kay; sons, Richard Kay III and Robert Kay; grandchildren, Berry Pelfrey, Eric Pelfrey, J.R. Kay,
Angel Kay, Chrystal Kay, Melody Braden, Michael Kay, Heath Haithcock, Sarah Haithcock; one great grandchild, Elizabeth Dominic.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those that have shown care and concern during the sickness and passing of Richard.
