Born in Prince George County, Virginia, he is the son of Durelle and Betty Crymes.
He is survived by a daughter, Christine Crymes of Fayetteville; a son, Kevin Crymes and wife Sheri of Minooka, Illinois; two sisters, Janice Sober of Prince George, Virginia and Jennifer Craig of Meherrin, Virginia; a brother, Durelle Crymes of Hopewell, Virginia; 3 grandchildren, Hayden, Jeremy and Olivia Crymes.
