Robert Rich

Mr. Robert G. Rich, 81, of Fayetteville, died March 26, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Born in Columbus County, he is the son of Mack Dowdie Rich and Lula Todd Rich. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Beulah Ann Smith and brothers, Lee, Jude and James Rich.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice Faulkner Rich; a daughter, Helen Rich Beasley of Fayetteville; three sons, Buddy Rich and wife Christy of Willow Springs, Keith Rich and wife Sharon of Godwin, Jamie Rich and wife Amy of Hope Mills; two sisters, Gladys Pope of Cedar Creek and Jerrie Mac Starling of Wade; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
