Roy Roger Hanson, 79 of Wade, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Born April 12, 1943 in Marshall County, MS, Roy is the son of the late Joe Martin and Alma Hanson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hanson.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer "Skeeter" Andrews and husband Mike, Sheila Pinter, Roger Hanson, Teresa Walker and husband Byron, Shannon Garcia and husband Reuben, Tommy Hanson and wife Alisha; 29 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Roy was a beloved minister for 48 years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking pigs for pig pickings.
