Sara Lewis

Sara Currie Lewis 80 of Fayetteville died April 11, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of the late Frank S. and Mary Farmer Currie.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara Jones and husband Michael of Fayetteville, Betty Jean Wade and husband Michael of Linden, Darlene Lewis of Linden; sons, James William Lewis and wife Patricia, Cary Glen Lewis all of Fayetteville; sisters, Virginia Brighman of Fayetteville, Mary Ruth McLamb of Stedman and Sandra Cottle of Morehead City; 10 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cary Belton Lewis; son, Daniel Archie Lewis; sister, Betty Lou Davis; brothers, Gilbert Currie, Jim Currie, Francis S. Currie, Jr. and Daniel Currie.
