Sarah "Beth" Bardon

Sarah Elizabeth “Beth” Bardon, 75, of Hope Mills, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Born April 14, 1951, in Cumberland County, Beth was the daughter of the late George Wash McLamb and Lola Mae McLean McLamb. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tyrone “Ty” Bardon; sister, Marie Tunstall; niece, Toni Marie; and nephew, Josh.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael D. Bardon & his wife Beth and Bradley K. Bardon & his wife Jenn; five grandchildren, Riley, Grady, Lola, Caroline, and Everett; brother, Tony McLamb and his wife Susan; niece, Rachel; great nieces and nephews, Peyton, Tyler, Dylan, Eleanor, and Charleston; and a host of other extended family and friends.

Beth will be remembered as a strong woman of faith, which she continually strengthened as a longtime loving member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills. She understood the importance of family and enjoyed being together with them as much as possible, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Whenever she could, Beth loved taking trips to the beach. Whether with family or friends, nothing felt better than the sun on her face, the sand at her feet, and the ocean breeze through her hair.

Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed and forever cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills, followed by a memorial mass at 12 noon.
